Heaven-above-Hay is a true description! The cottage is cosy, spacious, beautifully designed and well-maintained. Thank you Fran and Kate for making it a wonderful unforgettable weekend. The hot tub with spectacular views added to the comfort and the wood was a real treat for the dogs too. Just wish we'd stayed longer!

William, 5th October 2018

Spent a week in this idyllic location celebrating a 60th birthday with friends and family. The house - actually two old buildings linked together - is larger than it looks on the website and has great views. We found it very comfortable and well-equipped. We enjoyed using the hot tub (despite initial scepticism) and the pool table. There is a greatRead more range of activities nearby - we enjoyed the shops and pubs in Hay-on-Wye, canoeing on the Wye and exploring the local area. Hide

Linda, 3rd August 2018

Location idyllic, wonderful views, large enough for large gatherings and still feels extremely spacious. So cosy and relaxing, No-one wanted to leave. Would have loved another week. Best cottage we've stayed in, will return.
