Stroll in to discover an inviting interior. Leave your outwear in the porch, where the washer/dryer is also kept, and amble into the lounge. Light the wood burner in here, play games together or watch TV. Head through into the snug instead to read your book: there is a games console here and a futon bed for two extra guests if arranged in advance. Wander through into the kitchen to put the kettle on and whip up a tasty meal with the fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden. Dine in here together at the table. Climb the cottage-style stairs up to the first floor to find a king-size room and a double, with a 4ft bed. The family bathroom, with elegant free-standing bath, plus a shower, is also here. Fire up the BBQ and watch the children climb on to the old tractor. Pick home produce from the kitchen garden. There is parking for two cars at the cottage.
