WHAT OUR GUESTS SAY

Shelley, 5th July 2019

Fantastic location and lovely cottage. Remote location providing seclusion and privacy with a fab hotub and great countryside views. Highly recommend a visit - we had a fantastic time. Lots of local walks and a great pub in walking distance from the property with a soak in the hotub to look forward to when we got back! Limited phone signal and no wRead moreifi which is great if you are trying to get away from it all. Hide

The cottage is perfect for a secluded little getaway. Great for our dog, enclosed garden and in a great location to go on some mountainous and long walks. The hot tub was a relaxing place to spend the evenings. Highly recommend this cottage!

Matthew, 26th April 2019

Victoria, 12th April 2019

We had a cosy and comfy stay at Millbrook. The location was great - in really good reach of local amenities and tourist destinations, as well plenty of bike riding and walking on the doorstep. The local pub was a warm and welcoming 10 minute stroll across the field whilst Crickhowell is a lovely local town with a great variety of shops for suppliesRead more. There was plenty of room, both inside the cottage and out, for our party of 2 adults & 2 children. We would love to return! Hide

Nice cottage if you want to be secluded. Our toddler loved the sheep in the field close by and we loved the hot tub at night. Some nice walks close by. It was a bit too secluded for us in the end with a little one. More suited to a couple or family with older children.

Kristopher, 4th March 2019

Amazing location, and extremely romantic setting for our mini-moon. Entirely private and uninterrupted despite being on owners property. The hot tub is a brilliant touch and wonderful to sit out there on even slightly chillier evenings. Lovely kitchen set up for big meals and home cooking, but also located near a locely area of Crickhowell with somRead moree great pubs and restaurants, and only 20 mins in the car to nearly all recommended dog friendly big walks in the Brecons. Loved every minute! Hide

We had the best NY break; thanks so much to the owners for facilitating. We anticipated the cottage to be lovely but, put simply, it surpassed all expectations and made for the perfect NY holiday for the 4 (and dog!) of us. Board games, log burner, country hikes (with pubs) and relaxing home cooking. The cottage is beautifully equipped for this. WeRead more look forward to passing on to our friends & coming back & staying nearer to Easter. The cottage is a beautiful place and highly recommend. Hide

A beautiful cottage in the middle of nowhere but close to everything! Stunning views, clean and cosy, on the owners land, but at no point did we feel our privacy was invaded. Would definitely return!

Thomas, 25th September 2018

Stunning lodge in a fantastic location!!

Claire, 4th September 2018

Andrew, 24th August 2018

Lovely welcome from Bev with a few essentials to stock the fridge. Cottage was beautiful and the hot tub a treat to enjoy come rain or shine. Secluded but an easy walk to the local pub for a lovely meal, and close to other sights in Brecons.
