There is lots to do at this all-year-round destination for an active or relaxing holiday with friends and family in Snowdonia National Park. Enjoy walking, climbing, mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking and fishing in the breathtaking scenery. Betws-y-Coed offers lots of outdoor activities, crafts, shops, galleries, pubs and historic bridges over rivers and streams. Discover the waterfalls, river pools and hill-top lakes alongside the majestic mountains and dense woodland. Climb Snowdon’s Summit, visit Surf Snowdonia, the Zip World and Go Below for adventures. Take a trip to Conwy Falls and Swallow Falls, pop to Dolwyddelan Castle, Conwy Castle, Harlech Castle and National Trust’s Bodnant Gardens. Head north to the stunning coastline with Conwy and Llandudno within easy reach. This fabulous 1850s farmhouse is full of period charm, interesting features and thoughtful little extras to enhance your stay.

Walk into the welcoming hall with a feature fireplace and comfy chairs to relax in. Take off your coats and boots and head down to the kitchen. It is well-equipped with AGA, electric hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and breakfast table in the corner, perfect for morning coffee as you look through the recipe books for inspiration. Walk through to the utility boot room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, space for your boots and coats, and a handy side door to the outside. If you decide to eat in, the kitchen has all the equipment you need to rustle up a meal when ready walk up a few steps to the dining room for cosy nights around the long dining table with space for everyone to gather around. After dinner, go to the spacious lounge and plan your holiday activities relaxing on the comfy sofas by another feature fireplace and French doors to the side garden and parking area. Maybe you’d prefer to walk down to the second lounge to enjoy karaoke, Xbox, board games or to watch a film on the Smart TV with Sky (basic package). There is also a shower room with WC on this floor. After a full day out retire to one of the five bedrooms to choose from, all designed with a good night’s sleep in mind. Choose from the king with en-suite shower room and WC, a double, one of the two spacious twin bedrooms or the cosy single. Enjoy a relaxing bubble bath in the freestanding bath or a leisurely shower in the stylish bathroom with feature lighting, bath, shower and WC. Everyone can enjoy lovely views to wake up to from every bedroom, and watch the bounding spring lambs in the neighbouring fields. It is a lovely house to take a holiday in.

The enclosed garden offers a table, chairs and charcoal BBQ for everyone to relax in and spend time together making the most of the weather. Take a stroll down to the 1930s suspension bridge over the River Conwy into the heart of Betws-y-Coed and all its amenities. If you are bringing your bikes there is a lockable rack available, and space for kayaks, in the garden. Private parking for two cars at the property.

Andrew's cottage is excellent. Lovely design, fully equipped, wonderful location, few walk meters from the lovely village but preserving its privacy from the crowds. A beautiful farm house in a stunning setting. We were a party of ages ranging from 6 to 86. A lovely short, flat walk to Betws y Coed. Plenty to do, suitable for all ages, in the area. Would definitely come again

The cottage was in a wonderful location,beautifully appointed & comfortable. Lots of space to spread out & relax after a busy day of sightseeing.Glad we knew it was a working farm, as the farmer was there most days & the lambs bleated at us throughout the day & early morning (no peaceful sleep ins).Ideal location to explore Snowdonia & surrounds wiRead morethout being in a crowded village!We experienced it during an uncommon heat wave, but I could imagine its lovely with the fireplaces on in winter. A lovely cottage 5 mins walk to the village. Everything you would need for a luxurious stay. Comfortable beds and hot shower and a great media room to relax in after a day out. High recommend.
