In a super, quiet location with lots of walks on the doorstep (hilly though!) this cottage was beautifully presented and perfect for a family of four and a dog! The owner was very helpful with any queries leading up to the stay. Highly recommend this cottage.

A lovely cottage which has been beautifully but practically furnished, close to great beaches. The property was very well equipped with everything well beyond what is often available in a holiday cottage which made it a really comfortable base to come back to.

This is our second time staying at Carreg. Again the accommodation is superb, it is warm and very comfortable. The little added extras go a long way to making the stay special. Although the weather was poor, the standard of accommodation meant we could comfortably stay in and watch the waves crashing on the seashore from the wonderful view in the dRead morery and the warm. Good for a walking base, although you can see the sea you have to go through a holiday park to get to it. A good base to travel to Barmouth and Aberdovy.

The cottage tucked in the beautiful surroundings- theres a small stream running down the hill makes a relaxing sound. The cottage itself is spacious- kitchen, dining and sitting area. Beautifully and thoughtfully designed. It has high tech heating system. All the equipment is brand new and looked after very well. The TV has Netflix -you can snuggleRead more up with a blanket on the sofa with a cup of tea and relax by a fire place. Both bedrooms has comfy beds; the shower is great! Hide

A comfortable and well appointed cottage with lovely views to the sea. We really enjoyed our time and would return if we were in the area. We used it as a base for visits to coast and inland - theres loads to do in this area. Kim (owner) was responsive and easy to deal with.

A lovely cottage that has been built to a great spec and is perfect for a family of 4 to relax in! Lovely sea-views and not far from the local Co-Op the cottage has all mod cons and is great no matter the weather. Recommended!

The barn was absolutely beautiful. It was kitted our with everything we needed and more with lovely personal touches. The host was lovely and so helpful, contactable by mobile phone. Beautiful views and a lovely area to run around. We have small children so travelled most days to Barmouth beach rather than staying in the area around the barn but itRead more was a wonderful home to return to each evening. Hide

All the steps outside the property are dangerous and not suitable for children or old people. The Brochure recommends that one should Relax on the lawn and walk down to the babbling stream however the grass in the meadow to the stream was half a metre tall and would be a naturalists paradise. The spectacular view was marred by the surrounds. A largRead moree rusting metal barn sat adjacent was an eyesore. The shared space was very restricted and encroached on the privacy of the Elk. Hide

Superbly equipped & finished property in a lovely quiet location. It is close to the lane but I doubt you will hear more than a dozen cars if there all day. It's around 100 yards from the Welsh Coast Path so perfect for walking in the locality. However, if you are heading for main tourist attractions (Snowden, Llandudno etc) expect 1-2 hours each wRead moreay but roads are a pleasure to drive on. Hide
