Artfully designed and boasting an on-trend mid-century inspired décor, this property will impress any design aficionados amongst you. The open-plan living space features excellent touches including a wood burner and underfloor heating, ideal for stays in the colder months. Whilst the living room does come equipped with a TV, we recommend taking the few steps down to the snug and taking in sea views from the beautiful picture window. At the centre of the living space, you’ll find a generous dining table, the best place to sit down and enjoy meals together. This table comfortably seats 10, ideal for those booking both properties together. Similarly, the surrounding three-acre estate consists of patio, lawn and fields, an abundance of outdoor space for a large group to enjoy.

Discover the village of Llwyngwril 1 mile away, a seafront spot with pebble shores for walking and a welcoming local pub. You can follow the coastline up to Fairbourne (4 miles) to enjoy a more traditional sandy beach, although the rockpools at Llwyngwril are popular with younger visitors. South Snowdonia’s highest peak, Cader Iris, is around 15 miles from home and an ever-popular summit to conquer. Visit the beautiful Cregennan lakes (8 miles) for beautiful panoramic views or discover a mystical day out at the magnificent Rhaeadr Ddu waterfalls (16 miles).

Really lovely property, had a lovely time. Well stocked and lots of parking, nice a quiet. It is a shared garden with the other barn so be aware if your dogs are out and about. Would stay there again.

Fabulous place to stay. The accommodation is of a very high standard with fantastic sea views. Everything you could want is provided and there is such a lot to do in the local area. Our family including our dogs had a wonderful holiday.

A lovely cottage with fantastic views in a beautiful area of Wales. The cottage advertised having wi-fi but only when you have paid are you told that this is unreliable. Very unhelpful when you are planning a working holiday as I was. The wi-fi was indeed unreliable. Fantastic, however, if you want a relaxing holiday away from it all.

A gorgeous luxury cottage set in a picturesque location. Ideal for a real getaway and to be 'off grid' for a spell. Everything you could want to hunker in and enjoy some time out.

A stunning barn converted to a high spec and beautiful furnishings which we loved. A fantastic quiet spot with lots of walks nearby. We loved the Zwarbtle sheep too!

We had a fabulous week staying at the Elk, Nant Barn. The barn really is a home from home - we both said if we could have a dream home this would be it! We loved spending the evenings in the garden with a glass of wine watching the sunsets and early mornings in the snug watching the surfers. The location was excellent, so many things to do we just Read moredid not have enough time a good excuse to return! Our rescue pup had the best time of his life on the sands and in the sea at Barmouth Hide

Had a wonderful week at elk barn. Spotless on arrival. Prosecco was a welcome treat. The barn is spacious and well equipped. The views of the sea and surrounding mountains are beautiful. There is no door on the en suite however, privacy was a bit of an issue on the far side of the barn as the grounds are shared and the doors are clear glass, and alRead morel the beds are double. Not ideal for kids who don't want to share. There is a daybed however but we had to take out own bedding. Great location. Hide

We loved our stay at The Elk lodge it was perfect in every way. The property itself had everything we needed, our two dogs loved sitting out in the outside area watching the sheep. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.
