A breath taking location in the depths of the Black Mountains, where the stars shine brightest and the country pubs are plentiful, this cottage is a brand new treat to unfold. Welcoming owners, who live in a house adjacent to the cottage and on hand if you need them, so you are not in total isolation, but will have the utmost privacy otherwise. With beautiful touches, original artwork and everything thoughtfully considered, it's like home from the moment you step through the door.

Stoke up the fire & sink in to the sofas, the sitting room is all about relaxing, with comfy chairs, baskets of logs and plenty of perches for bottles of wine. There's a TV and DVD should you need them and beautiful views to enjoy, wi-fi of course, stacks of magazines & every temptation for an afternoon snooze.

With oak floors & warm heating via the clever hydro-electric system, it's also rather perfect for children looking to cosy up and build their Lego masterpiece throughout the stay!

The kitchen is bright and airy, perfect for pooches and views. Complete with large range cooker and fully equipped for rustling up a feast of local Welsh fayre. Outside you'll find the terrace and table with private garden too, perfect for a summer barbeque or spot of spectacular star gazing.

Upstairs you'll find three bedrooms with plentiful bathrooms, all bedding and towels included. A large master bedroom with basin and bath,  a separate family bathroom, plus a good sized, en-suite twin and an additional cosy bedroom....there's a downstairs cloakroom too!

This cottage works really well for a bustling family, or just a couple who want to walk and enjoy the mountains. There are market towns within easy reach, rivers and mountains all around and proper country pubs within 5 minutes drive along the lane.

Our top tip is to set off on blissful Brecon Beacon walk right from the door & enjoy heading home to a welcome cuppa in front of the fire and a yummy slice or two, of Berties bread - delicious!

Welcoming owners, who live in a house adjacent to the cottage with their two friendly and on hand if you need them, so you are not in total isolation, but will have the utmost privacy otherwise.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

A delightful cottage in a wonderful location.

Mark, 22nd June 2018

The perfect spot to walk marked footpaths from the door. A lovely house to start from and return to. Lucy and Bertie were great hosts. We couldnt have asked for a better place to spend our week.

Julie, 25th May 2018

The barn was a cow shed and has been refurbed to end up with a cottage feel. Fabulous location and a glorious part of the world. Great for just walking from base. The 1.8 mile drive from Llangynider is lovely but could challenge nervous drivers but there are passing places and the arrival is well worth it. Our hosts were delightful and extremely heRead morelpful when a shower failed - even securing a plumber on a bank holiday. Impressive. Hide
