A beautiful country home set within a traditional village in the heart of the Forest of Dean, a perfect base for family or friends to explore whatever the time of year.

Escape for a grand getaway in this gorgeous home where country meets contemporary. Large sociable spaces invite getaways with family and friends, with table football to keep the competitive ones entertained and a stylish conservatory for peaceful moments. Perfect for lovers of the great outdoors, woodland walks lead from your door and the Forest of Dean is waiting to be explored.

Sitting over three floors, the beautiful rooms of this country home exude rustic style and splashes of contemporary flair. Make your way down to the ground floor where you’ll find the bright and airy heart of the home where you can rustle up feasts, dine together and relax in the large conservatory. Bask in the sun and admire views over the forest or step out to the sunken terrace and up to the enclosed garden where you can sip al fresco tipples and enjoy the fresh air. The snug is the perfect place for those after a moment of quiet, whilst the first-floor lounge offers further opportunity to socialise by the warmth of the wood burner. Ornate features and the exposed stone fireplace create a tranquil ambience with splashes of grandeur. Four delightfully sumptuous bedrooms reside over the first and second floors so say good night and head upstairs to get cosy under the covers and wake for a soak in your en-suite.

With a pair of local inns, the village of Whitecroft is a great base from which to explore and you can reward walks around the Forest of Dean with a cold drink on your return home. If holidaying with little ones, treat them to a morning at Puzzlewood (4 miles) or a treetop adventure at Go Ape (3.5 miles). The Wye Valley AONB is worth exploring and at Symonds Yat (13.5 miles) you can kayak, rock climb, cave or enjoy a waterside wander along the River Wye.
