Visit the picturesque town of Hay-on-Wye just 4 miles away, losing yourself in long afternoons of rummaging through book shops and visiting welcoming pubs. You’ll find an abundance of long walks from your doorstep, with the Brecon Beacons’ Black Mountain range a handy 5 miles away. Pack your walking boots for a trip up the Waun Fach (28 miles) or summit the impressive Pen y Fan (17 miles). Thrill-seekers can enjoy hair-raising activities at the Llangorse Activity Centre (9 miles), whilst evenings in cosy restaurants can be spent in nearby Brecon (12 miles).

Step up into this charming, chocolate-box cottage to find a bright and cheery open-plan living space. Featuring a contemporary kitchen and cosy lounge, this room offers the perfect spot for two to unwind at the end of each day. Prepare a romantic meal using the electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer and microwave, before sitting down at the handy dining table or eating alfresco. Relax on the L-shaped sofa and enjoy the TV and DVD whilst logs burn on the wood burner. Completing this floor is a handy utility room tucked under the stairs with washing machine and tumble dryer. We would highly recommend this cottage to others. The location is stunning. We felt so relaxed and didnt want to leave. The cottage is better than we expected and better than the photos!
