Unwind in style at this big, beautiful countryside barn set high into the Herefordshire hills. A unique melange of traditional rustic living and new, the barn exudes luxury from every corner of its enchanting stone walls and lets no little detail go unmissed. Peacefully tucked away in the grounds of a cherry tree farm and rolling emerald meadows, the barn has been lovingly converted into the cosiest of holiday retreats!

Whilst being set in the prettiest of countryside settings, you could also not be any more perfectly placed for stepping out and exploring the nearby wonders. From the stunning cathedrals and serene riverside strolls of Worcester and Hereford to the bespoke boutique shops, charming tea rooms and quirky eateries of the smaller market towns of Leominster, Ludlow and Ledbury you’re never far from a fantastic day out (yet you most certainly feel like you are!).

To surround yourself with the fresh, sweet scent of wild flowers and views of gardens in full bloom, there are a handful of National Trust properties all within easy reach, perfect for whiling away an afternoon in the spring sunshine.

After soaking up the stunning views across the valley, take a seat and remove your muddy boots at the stone steps, and be wowed by the oak wooden beams, stylish interior and architectural grandeur…countryside chic at its finest. The first thing to grace the eye is the classic farmhouse kitchen, this hand-crafted and well-stocked space is perfect for rustling up a fine meal from which you can feast upon from the large dining table or marble-granite island, an undeniably social room - chat to your companions while you cook up some culinary delights!

The warm, welcoming and homely vibe to the barn is highlighted by the natural light which pours in through the floor to ceiling windows, this sheer glaze rear aspect also beautifully frames the vision of green outside and provides the perfect backdrop for any celebration.

Relaxing is high on the agenda, with a cosy lounge area to relax of an evening with a good book while you watch the sun set over the Welsh landscapes. Lead yourself up the beautiful feature stair case to the bedrooms, all designed with comfort in mind. Three king-size bedrooms complete with crisp linen and plush blankets provide a great place for resting your weary head after a day of exploring and the bath just adds to the indulgence.

The outside space boasts a private terrace with garden furniture, a great little spot for alfresco dining, entertaining your guests and soaking up the last of the sunshine.

We loved our stay in the Sentennial Barn. It really is a beautiful barn. It was a delight to stay in the countryside for a change and hearing the birds every morning and evening was a joy. It was the perfect base for lots of walking and exploring Herefordshire.

Fabulous location for visiting Herefordshire. Hereford Cathedral is well worth a visit and Hereford itself is very quaint, with some lovely architecture.
