Following the curved boardwalk towards the entrance of the lodge, borders of wildflowers and ferns define your entryway, leading you towards the doorway of your idyllic bolthole.

Stepping inside, you will discover a beautifully light and stunningly spacious room, that offers not only a bright and airy place to relax, but is also cosy enough of an evening to provide a snug and homely space to unwind. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner boasts stylish décor with exquisite detailing; the large corner sofa is adorned with comfortable cushions for you to sink into and snuggle up after a day of exploring, from which you can gaze out upon the picturesque landscape, or relax watching your favourite film.

Bi-fold doors flood the room with light, with the dining table perfectly placed to enjoy a meal with a full view of the rolling hills all around. The traditional yet stylish kitchen is beautifully fitted, with subtle, neutral tones complimenting the character of the property perfectly, and is fully-equipped for you to whip up a storm using your culinary skills.

The furniture and beams throughout are constructed from locally sourced Douglas fir and ash, meticulously finished to provide the finest quality, whilst the thoughtful addition of underfloor heating and a cosy wood burner means you’ll be warm and toasty all year round.

Down the corridor from the kitchen you will find the exquisite and spacious bedroom. The handcrafted whitewashed bedstead holds a sumptuous super-king-size mattress, where you can lie back and sink into its soft linen and plush pillows, drifting into a deep slumber after a long day of discovery. Wake up under the luxurious en-suite, spring fed filtered shower using the toiletries provided, wrapping up in a soft, fluffy towel once you step out.

The outside space of this lovely lodge offers you utter tranquillity, enveloped in a patchwork of emerald hills and immaculate fields to gaze upon as the sun sets. Take a seat on the decking and sip a morning coffee as the wildlife wakes up around you, lie back in the relaxing hammock to soak up the sunshine, or snuggle up around the fire pit and gaze up at the twinkling night sky with a glass of bubbly, you can also find an "enclosed" area in the garden for your four legged friends.

Had a lovely couple of days at Skylark Lodge. We only booked the day before and Nicky had everything ready for us including some breakfast items. Lodge was spotless and the bed really comfy. We made use of the log burner at night. Our dog had a great time. Would definitely go back perhaps when it's warmer so we could make use of the veranda

We had such a lovely stay in Skylark lodge. Nicky really has thought of everything to make it a wonderful stay. The location is great with gorgeous views out of every window. Great walks straight from the door then back to the cosy underfloor heating, lovely woodburner & comfy sofa. We really didn't want to leave.

Me and my fianc stayed in Skylark Lodge out of the two Little Hill Lodges; Skylark had a Scandinavian vibe to it. The lodge was comfortable and every window has a view of the stunning scenery that Mid Wales has to offer. Walks on your door step. Friendly hosts and animals. Relaxing and romantic for us to two

Lovely lodge, owner very friendly , situation absolutely stunning. Loved the privacy and location. The only thing that spoiled our holiday was the torrential rain and gale force winds! Would love to return again and hopefully have better weather!

Little Hill Skylark Lodge is lovely. It is warm, spacious, modern and comfortable. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting an outdoor walking holiday. We had very wet and windy weather during our stay so were unable to make the most of the location but that is no fault of the owners who are very welcoming and helpful.
