Relax in peace and five star quiet amongst meadows, woodland and bird song. A dreamy NGS garden, wild swimming pond to splash in, trampoline (not available during winter months) for the kids and the Brecon Beacons for walking your socks off! For just two people, this is a romantic, rural retreat.

Sweep down the driveway, gasp at the views and hide away on this private estate. In easy reach of the beautiful Wye Valley for lazy days paddling on the river, or stride out for the hills within the National Park, there’s bike hire and pony trekking widely available.

Market towns abound, Abergavenny, home to Wales foodie movement, the closest, Crickhowell and Monmouth nearby too, or take a drive through the mountains for a day trip to Hay on Wye, of literary festival fame and one of our favourite spots for local shopping.

The former home of the actual billiard table for the main country pile, now a lovingly transformed cottage with underfloor heating to be found beneath the flagstone floor and every consideration made for comfort and style.

Step through the door into the bespoke kitchen, slate worktops, hand-painted country shades and large contemporary stove with plenty of kit for the keenest of cooks. The living space is large and open-plan, a farmhouse table, comfy sofa and armchairs flanked by open fireplace and french doors leading out to the sunny terrace….barbeque and garden furniture at the ready. There is a bike shed and boot room to the side of the property.

Upstairs, the bedrooms are both en-suite, a romantic king-size and a large twin, beautiful bedding, fluffy towels and great views included!

The surroundings are stunning, whether it’s romantic retreat, or week away with the family, you’ll fall in love all over again.
