Finding a luxury holiday cottage that keeps everyone happy is always a challenge, yet we reckon this one might just meet that challenge head on!

For those that like to laze, there's an exquisite, private walled garden set within the 100 private acres that surround The Carriage House. For those who prefer to explore, day trips to the dramatic Snowdonia National Park are a must, with summits to conquer, mountain bike trails to zip down and the beaches of Anglesey well worth a trip across the Menai Straits. Shoppers, history lovers and those who like a bet will have appetites sated in Roman Chester, a healthy mix of independant boutiques, high street staples and a thriving race course more than filling a day. On your doorstep you'll find gentler trails, cosy country pubs and an incredibly peaceful setting.

A tree lined approach is always a good start and this won't fail to please! 100 private acres surround the former coach house on this exquisite country estate, there's nothing to disturb you, but the gentle bleeting of sheep safely fenced away. Step inside the large glass doors and there's an initial wow, from some in the group it will be about the full sized table tennis table with bats waiting, others might be more impressed with the oak beamed double height ceilings and view directly through to the private walled garden which is yours to enjoy.

Step further in and you'll discover the light filled dining room, with large farmhouse furniture just waiting to receive dishes from the newly completed kitchen. Hand painted in reassuring Farrow & Ball shades, it houses everything you should need for rustling up family friendly fayre, complete with adjoining utility room too. Caterering can be arranged too, should you prefer a little help.

Stride back across the atrium, past a comfy seating area perfect for the morning papers and find yourself in the drawing room. Elegant, yet comfortable, with wood burning stove, large tv, dvd and wi-fi, there is plentiful seating for everyone. Having been designed with two families in mind, there is a second small kitchen which leads off the drawing room, equipped with all the kitchen basics, it's a very handy addition. You will also find a downstairs loo and heaps of space for pet baskets, boots, bags and associated clutter!

With four bedrooms in total, there are two en-suite bedrooms on one side of the house, one with a king-size bed, the other a double, both complete with bath, basin and loo, as well as elegant bedding and soft fluffy towels provided alongside White Company smellies. On the other side of The Carriage House you will find another elegant king-size bedroom, plus a super king-size bedroom, which can be converted into a twin room if preferred. This room is also suitable for a z-bed to be added, should you need to stretch the sleeping accommodation a little.

With a calm atmosphere, truly stylish interior and an enviable garden, The Carriage House is a gem of holiday home, perfect for sharing, but wonderful enough to have all to yourself too....enjoy!

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
