HISTORIC WALES: There are castles almost littered around the Monmouthshire countryside, Raglan Castle is just a few short miles away, or a day trip around the trio of Whitecastle, Grosmont and Skenfrith Castles is worthwhile and makes a great cycle ride, ending with a pint or two at The Bell at Skenfrith. WHAT OUR GUESTS SAY

Ian, 2nd August 2019

What more can we say to explain our experience in "The Cwtch Hut" than..... WOW! Not only was the hut fully equipped with all of the essentials like a fully stocked kitchen, towels, spacious shower, comfortable bed and a log burner but the outside area was also so welcoming and thoughtful. Featuring two hammocks and a fire pit along with plenty of Read morespace in an enclosed area if anyone decided to bring their dog. Our stay here was warm and welcoming and Haydn & Rachel really made us feel at home. Hide

Our second visit to the Cwtch Hut and it is just as gorgeous as we remembered. The hut is set in glorious countryside and feels a million miles from anywhere, but still handy for the local towns and easy access to the Brecon Beacons. Rachel has thought of absolutely everything to make your stay comfortable and relaxing - just as a holiday should beRead more. We can't wait to go back! Hide

One of my favourite places I have ever stayed. The Cwtch is small but absolutely perfectly formed, it has everything you could need and is very cleverly designed. The area is absolutely stunning and I was sad to leave, definitely book if you're considering :)

Paul, 15th April 2019

This delightful Hut is tucked away in a glorious and quiet part of the Brecons. If you want a peaceful holiday beautifully managed by the owner then this is it.

Spencer, 11th March 2019

Everything we needed for a lovely break, great for our dog who enjoyed the fenced off outside space. Comfortable inside and the stove kept it all nice and warm. Lots of great local walks. We especially enjoyed the walk around Llandegfedd reservoir (hills and woods included) followed by lunch at the onsite restaurant.

Nicki, 16th November 2018

It was peaceful, warm, cosy and every possible need had been catered for in this cleverly designed compact property.
