Romantic countryside barn conversion in 2 acres of private woodland garden with the use of a hot tub.

Hide yourselves away for a spell in this gorgeous stone cottage, nestled in beautiful gardens and woodland near Capel Dewi, 4 miles from Llandysul, in West Wales. Sleeping just two people, but also welcoming up to four of their favourite furry friends, the one-bedroom, converted barn makes a simply idyllic retreat for couples. Explore the 2 acres of grounds about you; head into Llandysul to browse in the shops and dine out; and plan trips to the coast, about 18 miles away, to go to the beach at Aberporth or walk a section of the Ceredigion Coast Path.

Wander into the charming abode to find yourselves in an enticing, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Settle on the sofa in here and fire up the wood burner so it emits a warming glow. Find a film on TV, enjoy a few pages of your book then wander over to the kitchen area to prepare supper. Find a handy utility room and your bathroom at this level too. At the end of each busy day, climb the wooden ladder up to the mezzanine to lay your heads in your comfortable, king-size bed. Take breakfast outside in the enclosed patio area on bright mornings. Light the BBQ in the evening, head over to the fire pit and sit out here to dine as the stars begin to appear. Arrange a private session in the hot tub, which is shared with the owners. Find parking for up to two cars at the property.

Have a morning out at the National Wool Museum, 10 miles from the cottage. Go walking at the Woodland Trust’s Coed y Foel, just 2 miles from your base. Visit the beautiful, themed Norwood Gardens, 4 miles away, with its alpine, bamboo, Mediterranean and woodland areas.

Everything was absolutely lovely - the look as feel of the barn, the facilities/equipment, the garden (especially the fabulous bird life) and woods and, of course, the hot tub. The owners hit the perfect balance between interest and invisibility. Definitely one of the best places weve stayed at.

Lovely place to stay if you enjoy walking, birds and nature. A cosy cottage with everything we could wish for. We took four dogs without any problems whatsoever and we all had the best time. Not many places allow you to take multiple dogs but even if we had none we would have enjoyed this cottage for the peace and relaxation

A really nice converted barn: a great space to hang out in after exploring the Welsh countryside. And we very much enjoyed the resident peacocks that sometimes sauntered past the windows. A wonderful base for a holiday - we would have stayed twice as long if we could!

The Barn is very well equipped, comfortable and stress free. Ian and Manda were around if needed but by no means intrusive. They have a very calm energy. Having access to the wooded area was a big plus for us with our dog, as was a very well fenced garden area. Great place to relax and unwind we wished we had booked two weeks

Lovely place to stay, remote but that is why we chose it, so peacefull, sitting in the hot tub in the woods looking up at the stars is a wonderful way to pass the time before going back and sitting in front of the wood burner, would highly recommend

We loved the barn! It was more spacious than it looks in the photos, yet it was warm and cosy with a homely feel. It had all mod. cons and more and was spotlessly clean. The hot tub, just a short walk through the trees in the garden, was in a nice secluded position. The location is quiet and peaceful with walks through the woods, ideal for the dogsRead more. The garden is also completely fenced for the dogs. It is a perfect "get away from it all" holiday location, we felt completely relaxed. Hide
