Our 2nd visit to the huts and once again we left having had the most glorious stay. The location for views and walks just cannot be beaten. The owners are very friendly and will leave you to it so you are surrounded by only sheep. If you want isolation, solitude and beauty it is perfect but don't expect the tech to work (although you can always jumRead morep in the Gator and pop down to the barn where there are plug sockets and a working fridge dedicated to you). We love it. Hide

A unique location, very friendly and helpful owners, loved having 4x4 for getting from car to the huts. Huts were clean and well equipped and it was a special break because of the location, the fire pit and the type of accommodation

The location is fantastic and we had a lovely time. However kitchen area is tired. Fridge still doesn't work (see previous reviews). Take it out and put in another cupboard. Most of the kitchen equipment needs replacing. Plug points don't work at all. Outside lights on big cabin don't work. We had a good welcome from James (?) but no further contacRead moret from the owner despite me trying to make contact several times. Hide

If you are hestitating, dont! If you go just for the views, peace and tranquility, you wont be disappointed. The huts are very comfortable, the little logs burners efficient ,plenty of hot water and a proper loo. If you need WiFi a phone signal, plugs and mod cons then this isnt the place for you.

Absolutely stunning location and a great relaxing escape holiday for a family of 5 plus a dog. We were made to feel so welcome by everyone and nothing was too much trouble. Riding up the track to the huts was a little scary but only added to the adventure and the kids loved it! Huts were lovely too although no electricity or working fridge but we wRead moreere given an ice box to use instead which was perfectly fine. We will definitely be returning! Hide

An idyllic location with nothing but hills and sheep as far as the eye can see. The huts were equipped with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and the owners were around if we needed them. We loved driving the truck and seeing the newborn lambs. Thank you for a great stay; we would definitely come back!
