A lovely restored property perfectly located and a great base for couples and families to enjoy the West Wales coast plus having the bonus of the beach, harbour, shops and restaurants within walking distance.

Enjoy a magical stay on the gorgeous coast of West Wales where candy-coloured houses dot the water’s edge and dolphins dive in Cardigan Bay. Bursting with charm and a bustling ambience, the Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron is a wonderful destination for family holidays filled with beach days, coastal walks and fish and chips. The elegant, tranquil charm of this Grade II-listed cottage is enough to tempt even the biggest of beach lovers back home for a relaxing night.

Calming hues, natural light and splashes of colour flow throughout this charming dwelling where you can make yourself at home right away. After days in the salty sea air, settle on the sofa next to the ornamental fireplace and switch on the TV for a cosy night in to help you rejuvenate ready for tomorrow’s adventures. For al fresco evenings basking in the sun’s rays, head for the vibrant pink exterior and sip tipples on the comfortable garden furniture, firing up the BBQ for a sizzling banquet washed down with sundowners. With your very own private hot tub to enjoy and relax in, what more would you wish for? Upstairs, a trio of pretty bedrooms await weary heads and after a peaceful night’s sleep you can freshen up in the family shower room before making your way downstairs to pop the kettle on in the contemporary kitchen. Take care of low doorways and ceilings.

After your morning coffee, stroll down to the harbour and listen to the clinking of boats and the lapping of the water. The pebbled beach is perfect for a gentle stroll and a paddle or you can make the 7.5-mile trip to New Quay where golden sands, dolphins and refreshing sea swims await. Leave the salty air behind and visit the National Trust’s LLanerchaeron (2.5 miles), where walled gardens, farmyard and a lake surround the superb Georgian villa which oozes charm.

Beautiful cottage, with everything you need and more. The garden is so spacious and our dog loved it, plus we knew he was secure when he was out there. Parking was also an added bonus. The welcome pack was really lovely and the products were so tasty. Beautiful, and we would highly recommend.

Nice, clean cottage. Small kitchen but big enough for one person to cook and as it is a period property, there would be little that could be changed. Bathroom small but not an issue. Parking area was a bonus and the cottage is within walking distance for all village amenities.

A lovely, comfortable home in a great location. 4 adults and 2 small dogs stayed for a week in Aberaeron. The small pretty town has lots of lovely restaurants, (Y Seler was very good), and a nice harbour. Local dog walk from behind the cottage was nice and the walk to Newquay along the coast was fantastic. Would recommend a beach visit to Penbryn. Read moreThe Welsh coast was spectacular.
