An elevated position on the owner's farm within the foothills of the Skirrid, on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The perfect base for walkers and cyclists where you are served with access onto the footpaths to the summit of the Skirrid, where you can enjoy the views across the Welsh Mountains and the Wye Valley. The vibrant market town of Abergavenny is just a short drive, where you can visit their weekly farmers’ market or relax with afternoon tea. The area is also steeped in history with some of Europe’s finest surviving castles, Abergavenny Castle, set against spectacular hills and Crickhowell Castle, a prominent feature within a small market town. If you want an adventure, canoe or kayak on the River Wye. Or visit one of the events including the Usk show and Abergavenny food festival.

Take in the beauty of the countryside and the views across the Brecon Beacon National Park before you climb the steps up onto the terrace. The covered, oak framed porch is the perfect place for muddy boots and is stocked with wood for the wood burner. Step inside to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area is situated to the left where you can sink into the leather sofas and relax with friends, the wood burner is perfect for when the evening draws in and there is a TV/DVD if you chose to enjoy a good film. A traditional farmhouse table takes centre stage, where you can keep the chef amongst you company while diner is prepared. Prepare a meal in the shaker style kitchen, well-equipped offering an electric oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The utility area in the porch also has a washing machine. So, when the night draws in, climb the spiral staircase to the first floor open landing, where you will find two bedrooms. A double bedroom and a twin room. There is a bathroom with shower over bath and WC completing this floor.

Open the stable door and step out onto the garden terrace, the views across to Abergavenny and the surrounding countryside are uninterrupted and create the perfect backdrop.
