This property exudes laid back luxury, with a hot tub, in the quiet hills beyond the towns of Brecon & Sennybridge. There are great days out to be had in the surrounding Brecon Beacons, from walking the highest South Wales peak, Pen y Fan, to enjoying yummy meals in one of the many country pubs in the area, that's if you can tear yourself away from the bubbly tub.

Step inside, toast your feet on the underfloor heating and you'll find farmhouse kitchen and family breakfast table, with all the pots, pans and gadgets you should need for a stay, plus of course dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer. There’s a large dining room and a downstairs en-suite twin bedroom too.

Nip upstairs for the cosy sitting room with wood burning stove and French windows leading directly out to the terrace with far reaching views across the Welsh hills. There is a further pretty en-suite double-size bedroom with room for a cot too.

The outside space is perfect for families, with large wooden decking leading out to a great area for barbeques, childrens play...or simply enjoying the views. The shared outdoor play facilities will be unavailable for the first 24 hours of your stay. Please let the owner know prior to arrival or during your stay if you would like to use these and she will carry out a deep clean prior to use.

If you want a peaceful stay this is the place to stay. The hot tub is a great bonus. It is close to the Brecon Beacons for walking, and not far from the elan valley.

What an amazing place. Beautiful cottage, peaceful area, wonderful countryside, toasty log burner, bubbly hot tub and comfy beds. Total relaxation, despite the weather. Such a fantastic place to stay. The views are beautiful, lovely and quiet. The cottage is fantastic. High quality furniture, accessories and kitchen equipment. Lovely comfy beds, lovely bathrooms, netflix, amazon prime on the TV, warm and cosy. Received a bottle of wine, welshcakes, crisps and milk for when we arrived which was a lovely touch. This is the second time we have stayed at Upper Bull Pen. It is well equipped and comfortable accommodation in a beautiful setting. Absolutely sensational staying here on the weekend, plenty of space, everything you need and want. Bit of a drive from my location but definitely worth it, Helen was incredibly helpful as well. Can't praise her or the place enough. Can't give more than 5 stars either but simply fantastic! Would highly recommend and hopefully return in the future!
