After a day of sightseeing, return to your cosy cottage for a little cwtch in front of the roaring wood burner in the lounge area, where you can also catch up on all your favourite programmes on the Smart TV. Rustle up a tasty meal in the kitchen, using produce from your travels, to enjoy together around the dining table for four. The inviting bedrooms are located on the ground floor and comprise a king-size and a twin. To the rear of the cottage is an enclosed, gravelled courtyard with outdoor furniture. Pour yourself a glass of wine, fire up the BBQ, and spend quality time together in the Welsh sunshine.
You’ll find plenty to keep everyone entertained at nearby Llys-y-Fran Lake (7.5 miles). Whizz around the mountain bike tracks, get out on the water on a stand-up paddleboard, or simply take a quiet stroll along the water’s edge. There’s also an excellent cafe. The lake is right at the foot of The Preseli Hills, where you’ll find endless walking opportunities through wild moorland, heath, and grassland. Alternatively, journey to Narberth (4 miles) for a day of retail therapy in the town’s independent boutiques and artisan stores. It’s a great place to pick up delicious Welsh treats for your dinner.
