Strikingly beautiful with its own unique sense of charm, Vedw Barn Haven’s stone work and traditional wooden detail will grab your attention the moment you pull up through the myriad of wild flowers and emerald countryside surrounding the property.

Enjoying a rural location on the fringes of the peaceful village of Mamhilad, you can be assured complete tranquillity in every direction, with just the sound of bird song and sometimes the gentle whirr of a tractor in a nearby field to be heard for miles around.

After you’ve pulled yourself away from the views across the meadows, step back in time into this beautiful barn, nestling perfectly within the wonderfully kept gardens! A warm, traditional welcome awaits as you enter the open-plan living/dining space with its exposed beams, dark pine furniture, cast iron fire and open stone work; it’s a setting synonymous with that out of a story book depicting tales of kings and queens. No detail has gone unnoticed, from the crystal chandeliers to the candlesticks and casket of logs you’ll be utterly enchanted the moment you arrive.

The chunky sofas are laden with plush blankets and cushions, providing the perfect place to snuggle down of an evening to watch a movie with the wood burner crackling away – you really will feel a million miles away from the rest of the world. If you fancy some extra peace and quiet, head to the snug and enjoy that last chapter of your book or have a strum on the guitar ready and waiting for your use!

The wealth of character continues through to the farmhouse kitchen. Copper pots and pans hang from the beams overhead and jars of spice line the wooden worktop. We couldn’t think of anywhere more inspiring to get creative and cook up a hearty feast, with all the equipment you could possibly need! Fill your tummies around the dining table with a glass of wine and catch up over the day gone-by. Leading off from the kitchen, you’ll also find a utility room, a great place for shaking off any wet coats and wellies before popping the kettle on for a brew.

When the day is done, follow the hallway to the equally cosy bedroom. Boasting a super-king-size bed, crisp bed linen and glorious garden views, you can be assured a comfortable spot to rest your head and enjoy a peaceful night slumber.

The quirky bathroom features a deep bath and extra luxurious touches, allowing you to unwind and relax in style.

Being in the heart of the open countryside, you’ll want to make the most of the fresh air and serene vistas. The charming private courtyard complete with garden furniture, chimenea and BBQ is the perfect spot to watch the sun rise with your morning coffee or dine al fresco on a balmy summer’s eve.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
