Fantastic place in which we thoroughly enjoyed a weekend away. Great walks across the slate mines were only a short distance from the cottage; perfect for the dog walks. Would definitely recommend.

Willow Cottage is ideally equipped for those who like activities and a quiet location. Self catering is a definite option as one has to be brave to negotiate the steep horseshoe bends several times a day if you want to keep going out. To be fair we knew from the cottage write-up it may be challenging. We were very comfortable and even when there waRead mores power cut in the morning the owner came round with a conciliatory bottle of something fizzy. Hide

This magnificent cottage is the perfect place to be when wanting scenery, tranquility, and quietness. We could not fault anything about it. The landlords have done a tremendous job on getting everything just right for any couples wanting that romantic setting. Many of the reviews mention the journey getting to the cottage. I agree its through narroRead morew lanes and steep. But after a few trips in and out, you get used to the journey. The end product is worth any bumpy ride. Overall, a Superb weekend. Hide

Clean, well equiped and comfortable cottage. Roads to and from cottage alittle rugged and steep, dodging the sheep on the narrow track was intetesting. Very peaceful and quiet.
