Just a short walk downhill to the sandy beach, this converted stable is close to all the amenities a seaside town offers. As well as the picturesque fishing harbour, where bottlenose dolphins may be spotted on a clear day. New Quay is where the poet Dylan Thomas lived during World War II, and visitors can follow the famous Dylan Thomas Trail around the town. New Quay Honey Farm is well worth a visit, as are the ruins of Strata Florida Abbey, a 30-minute drive away. Zip wire, kayaking, climbing and canoeing are available at Llain Activity Centre, and the Cardigan Bay Watersports and Sea School have various outdoor activities. Golf and horse riding nearby. Shop and pub only 200 yards away. (Please check admittance for the various attractions).

Enter this contemporary coastal property and immediately be welcomed into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area has large French patio doors looking out on to the small, hedged garden. With cosy seating, a TV and wooden floors. The kitchen is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with ice compartment and washer/dryer along with a dining table for those romantic meals. Completing the ground floor is a shower room with shower and WC. Head up the oak staircase to the first floor, where you will find two armchairs in front of the bay window with views over Cardigan Bay. Here you will also find a double bed along with a single bed, perfect for a child.

Heading outside through the French doors onto a traditional slate patio area and small lawn, there is a bistro table and chairs under a palm tree. Off-road parking for one small car is available to the side of the property. (Guests with larger cars are advised to drop off their luggage and park in the pay and display car park which is 200 yards away next to New Quay Surgery at a cost of £10.50 per week).

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

A fab cottage set is lovely quiet surroundings. Very clean and a great deal of attention has been given to equipment that may be required while away from home. The beds are lovely and comfortable and the view from upstairs spectacular! Our dog was catered for too with a lovely bed and treat however, if your dog likes to wander the property is not sRead moreecure and your dog may wander into the lane, albeit a quiet lane cars do pass down it.We would definitely recommend a stay here, we were sad to leave. Very comfortable homely place to stay with amazing views especially from upstairs. I spent a couple hours most days sat admiring the view (while the football was on downstairs) Everything was clean & tidy. Pub & shop just along the road on the flat everywhere else was quite hilly

Bijou but comfortable for 2. Parking tight but managed to park my Qashqai with a little bit of shunting. No view from the downstairs as there is a tall laurel hedge 8ft from the door but view from upstairs super.
