Just a stroll from the Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, this is a real jewel of a property, perfect for romantic breaks, beach lovers and keen walkers to explore this fabulous region.

Elevated above the glorious Ceredigion Coastline within 0.5 miles of the sandy beach and pretty harbour of New Quay, this couple’s bolthole is the essence of seaside charm. Spend your days navigating cliff-top trails and nature spotting, returning with armloads of local produce for special dinners a deux in your private garden.

Offering a sense of breezy beach living with an underlying nautical vibe, your accommodation embraces simple sophistication throughout whether you are reclining on the cosiest of armchairs with your favourite brew or are perched outside marvelling at the sunset. Floor-to-ceiling windows invite natural light to pour inside on sunny mornings as you potter in the kitchen, and at nighttime the stars twinkle in plain sight whilst you snuggle up by the wood burner. Light breakfasts with fresh coffee and croissants that melt in your mouth can be enjoyed at the table or al fresco, and you’ll catch whiffs of the sea air as you tuck in with gusto. At bedtime, sink into the delightful double bed and catch up on some much-needed sleep, and if you have a little one in tow there is a single bed tucked in a nook.

Bottlenose dolphins peer above the water in the sheltered bay and can often be spotted whilst you sip your coffee in the picturesque harbour surrounded by gently bobbing boats. Known as the home of famous poet Dylan Thomas, the town has a plethora of discoveries to uncover along the popular heritage trail that traces his footsteps throughout the cobbled streets. Bask in the sunshine on the sandy beach and dip your toes in the waves if you aren’t feeling quite brave enough to take the plunge or embrace your sense of adventure and embark on a journey along the nearby coast path.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The views from the cottage are a real treat and the accomodation is really generous for a couple. Waking up to sea views and a glimpse of a dolphin is our lasting memory.

Y Stabl is a gem . A great setting- a short stroll away from town and with a gorgeous view . The cottage is well designed and comfortable-a lovely place to stay . The area has a stunning coastline with great walks and the possibility of seeing seals and dolphins in the bay . We were sorry to leave !

A fab cottage set is lovely quiet surroundings. Very clean and a great deal of attention has been given to equipment that may be required while away from home. The beds are lovely and comfortable and the view from upstairs spectacular! Our dog was catered for too with a lovely bed and treat however, if your dog likes to wander the property is not sRead moreecure and your dog may wander into the lane, albeit a quiet lane cars do pass down it.We would definitely recommend a stay here, we were sad to leave. Very comfortable homely place to stay with amazing views especially from upstairs. I spent a couple hours most days sat admiring the view (while the football was on downstairs) Everything was clean & tidy. Pub & shop just along the road on the flat everywhere else was quite hilly

Bijou but comfortable for 2. Parking tight but managed to park my Qashqai with a little bit of shunting. No view from the downstairs as there is a tall laurel hedge 8ft from the door but view from upstairs super.
