This quirky family-friendly property is a great base for a break on the Pembrokeshire coast to indulge in the sights, scents and sounds of the seaside. Make your way across the coastline to Tenby (8 miles) for a quintessential seaside experience with pretty pastel houses lining the streets and plenty of activities to entertain all ages on the main beach, just one of the charming places you can visit during your stay.

As you step inside there is a hall leading to the cosy living room which is decorated with natural hues of green and brown and retains a number of its charming original features, including a feature fireplace. Here you can sink into the comfortable sofa to catch up with your loved ones or snuggle up in an armchair with a good book for a relaxing evening. Next door a snug area looking out to the glistening sea where you can find peace and quiet, as well as a family shower room. All three bedrooms can be found in the main part of the property, including a double bedroom boasting coastal views, a second double bedroom looking inland and a bunk room which children will love. Made up of two buildings, the kitchen/diner is located in the second section of the property, just a few steps away from the main house and features a range of green shades creating a calming place to both cook and eat as a family. What really makes this property special is the decked balcony where you can eat and drink outside surrounded by gorgeous scenery as the sun sets each evening.

Breathe in the salty sea air and take a wander down to Freshwater East Beach, less than a mile from the property, to gaze over the turquoise waters on the sand and pebble beach which is somewhat of a surfers paradise. Just behind the beach, you’ll find the Secret Marsh Nature Reserve where Welsh mountain ponies, fascinating sea birds and intricate orchids can be found peppered through the dune landscapes. If you are intrigued by local history, visit the majestic mediaeval Pembroke Castle to delve into the dungeons and take a tour of the extensive grounds where you’ll find many picture-perfect spots.
