Set approximately 1 mile from the market town, the carefully modernised house, which still has many original features, welcomes up to six guests, plus one very happy hound. Nestled in a tranquil location and benefiting from a gorgeous garden next to a stream, it is perfect for a family or friends seeking serenity and seclusion within easy reach of shops and places to dine out.

Stroll into the enticing Welsh holiday home to find yourselves in the attractive dining room, where you can gather at the table to enjoy hearty holiday feasts together. Make your way into the welcoming lounge, where you can light the wood burner, watch TV together, and find films for the Blu-ray player. The sunroom, with its picturesque views, is also the perfect place to relax. Prepare meals with tasty local ingredients you have sourced on your trips out in the kitchen. There is also a downstairs wet room, with WC. Find a plethora of hill walks and hikes to suit walkers of all abilities. Visit the Gigrin red kite feeding station, 1 mile away. Fron Cottage is amazing. My 2nd time here and will be back. The visitors book itself confirms the number of returners. Warm, cosy cottage secluded in its own grounds with stream running through. Wildlife and Birdwatchers paradise on site! 33 different birds this time! Cottage is the best equipped I have ever experienced. Love it! 6 stars out of 5

The cottage is in a fantastic location about a 15-20 walk into Rhayader. The furnishings are comfortable and the bonus of two sitting rooms was great. The Kitchen is kitted out to a high standard with everything you need. The arrival package of biscuits, mince pies etc was a nice touch and was greatly received.
