Perfectly equipped for two, this delightful bolthole offers the perfect opportunity for a romantic retreat. Wake up with the sun rising over unabated countryside and say, “Bore da!” to some well-deserved revitalisation on the edge of Wales’ striking Black Mountains.

Hand-crafted, the hut’s light and airy interior creates a bright, homely atmosphere. Equipped with lots of home of comforts and luxurious touches, you can enjoy everything you need for a relaxing break. Outside, an external kitchen pod provides space for culinary creation whilst affording great views. In the summer, the private hot tub is the place to be as you soothe your muscles and turn your face to the sun. In winter, the wood burner casts an irresistible glow across the hut and adds an extra splash of opulence.

On the doorstep of beautiful, unrelenting countryside, this is a great area for those who love the outdoors and walks in the reviving mountain air. Head across the road and you will find access to Skirrid Mountain, where the summit rewards walkers to spectacular views. Just WOW, this was the most relaxed ive been in a long time, such a comfortable sleep and the accomadation was beautiful inside and out, private hot tub with stunning views. We had a lovely break. Stayed 3nights. The owners were great friendly and made you feel welcome. Lovely little cafe on site. Hot tub and huts were amazing, we would highly recommend.

A lovely stay and warm welcome from Mike. Pictures dont do the place justice, with a really nice stargazing type terrace above the hot tub. Great facilities and lots of walks nearby, made for a relaxing stay.

An excellent place to stay, you are given total seclusion whilst known your host's are on hand at all times should you need any assistance. They could not have been more inviting or friendly. A really beautiful place. The owners are amazing, super nice and helpful. Everything was clean and cozy and we were made to feel really welcome. Would definitely reccommend a walk up Skirrid View, it's a bit of a hard trek but the views are well worth it.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic, we were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived and were treated to tea and cake in the cozy cafe. The bed was comfy and the cottage cozy, kitchen is well equipped for all your needs. Its around 5 minutes drive from Abergavenny, plenty of parking for a self drive and an extremely professional and prompt taxi seRead morervice only minutes away (Julians Taxis). A really great week in this beautiful location. An ideal base for relaxing. Only a stones throw away from the Brecon Beacons or the Black Mountains. The team were extremely friendly and accommodating. The hot tub was amazing after a long days trekking, with a glass of wine!

Had an amazing week at Skirrid View. Tea on arrival, great hosts, always there for you and very friendly and the cutest dog Jack who loves a belly rub.
