Surprisingly light and airy, this beautiful open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner/sleeping space is of a bespoke design. Relax in front of the cosy wood burner, make breakfast in the handmade kitchen, or relax on the hammock outside the door and breathe in the fresh country air. There is also an outdoor kitchen with charcoal BBQ - the ideal opportunity to dine alfresco when you simply cannot tear your eyes from the view. There is also an internal shower room with power shower and WC, adding a little more refinement to your glamping break.

On-site there is an honesty shop selling locally sourced meats, snacks and other items. Please note that due to social distancing measures, shared facilities such as this may be temporarily closed for everyone's safety. The delightful town of Usk is just 2.5 miles away, offering an array of independent shops, restaurants and pubs. Sample the local food at nearby Abergavenny, which hosts a popular food festival as well as many markets. Outdoor lovers will be in their element here, with plenty to do on water as well as land; head 8 miles to Llandegfedd Reservoir and enjoy kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, and more.

A lovely holiday, in a great little shepherd's hut, in a beautiful location. Hosts very welcoming and helpful - lots of local knowledge. Beautiful views from the doorstep, amazing sunrises and expansive starry skies. Great base for day trips around the local area. So much to see and do.
