A quick 3.5-mile journey from home lies the National Trust’s Bodnant Gardens. Roam the sweeping lawns and woodland before sampling local treats in the tearoom. Cross the river and travel 7.5 miles to Adventure Parc Snowdonia where an exciting range of activities including surfing, adrenaline courses and caving are waiting for those of you with a brave streak.
