The tastefully furnished open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner features a double-height vaulted and beamed ceiling, making an ideal space to cuddle up and relax. The lounge has comfortable seating and a welcoming wood burner, providing a lovely spot to get together and unwind with a movie in the evening. There’s also a stylish kitchen area with a useful dining area as well as a characterful double bedroom and an invigorating shower room. A ladder leads up to a sweet mezzanine with restricted head height, providing a cosy space to catch up with a book. Outside, the enclosed garden has a lawn, patio, outdoor furniture, BBQ and glorious views towards the coast, perfect for a glass or two of wine in the evening. The cottage leads to a 5-acre field with plenty of room for your canine companion to run about.

The golden sandy beach of Three Cliffs is 2.5 miles away, between Pennard Castle and Penmaen and Nicholaston Burrows. Other local beaches include those at Oxwich Bay (5 miles) and Mumbles, a vibrant village with some great places to eat and drink (10 miles). Other local attractions include the Gower Heritage Centre, Weobley Castle, King Arthur’s Stone, Swansea Botanical Gardens, and the National Waterfront Museum in Swansea (all within 9 miles).

This was a lovely place to stay with easy access to many bays and beaches. A wonderful field beyond the enclosed garden was great for our dog. We received a very warm welcome from the owners with everything explained to us. A lovely welcome pack too. Very well equipped and comfortable.

Cottage has some great amenities. Having a small personal garden was ideal to let our dog out but also has access, through the gate, to a big field where he could have a good run. Bed was lovely and comfortable, sofa was large and soft. Kitchen has all the basic needs for a week away. Has access to an EV charger if required. Perfect cottage for two plus dog. We chose this for our dog really! Enclosed garden and a big field beyond. Parking outside front door, always a plus. No shortage of kitchen equipment for self catering. A short drive to all the wonderful beaches.

We cannot rate this property highly enough. It is perfectly located, close to beautiful beaches, lovely pubs and places to eat and places to visit and yet very quiet and peaceful. The owners were very kind and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so very much.

The cottage is every thing you would want for a week's stay great kitchen area nice garden especially if you have a dog. Parking very good and secure . You can easily reach all the beaches and villages of the Gower within half hours drive. The owner was welcoming but not intrusive. I found the sofa uncomfortable and let the cottage down a bit. A spacious, well equipped and cosy cottage that is in a great location for exploring some excellent beaches. and countryside. The welcome hamper was full of tasty Welsh cakes, soda bread and the wine and beer ideal for New Years Eve. For us the enclosed garden and field beyond was ideal for our Roo the Cockapoo. We had great food at the Britannia IRead morenn overlooking fields and animals ( we actually ate outside it was that mild on the 1st Jan!). The log burner in the evenings made it even cosier. Hide

Great little cottage in a super secluded location - really peaceful. The garden was secure for our dog and the five acre field a great bonus which was much enjoyed. Very comfortable all round, bed, sofa, the wood burner kept the cottage warm. Ideal.

Lovely cottage with everything we needed. Location brilliant. Garden and use of field a bonus. Boycey our dog enjoyed playing with the owners dogs so an added bonus. Hamper a lovely surprise. Would certainly recommend a stay here.
