Part of a group of cheerful properties, this delightful cottage makes a great holiday home for couples and smaller families discovering a gorgeous part of South Wales. Enjoying a beautiful location along the eastern part of the Gower Peninsula, this refreshing retreat offers cosy accommodation for up to four guests. Featuring wooden floors, stable-style doors and a shared hot tub, the cottage is half a mile from the friendly village of Penclawdd and is surrounded by beautiful countryside and woodlands, making it a fantastic getaway for keen walkers, cyclists and nature lovers.

The delightful open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner offers a cosy and warm welcome. The lounge has plenty of seating, perfect for gathering around the wood burner effect electric fire and watching a movie in the evening. A sweet dining area is by the side, with a stylish kitchen to the rear of the room. There’s also a refreshing shower room and two cosy bedrooms – a comfortable double and a pretty bunk bedroom which has a stable door leading outside. Heading outdoors, there’s a charming patio area with garden furniture providing a lovely space for sitting out on a summer’s evening with a glass or two of wine. There’s also a pretty garden shared with the neighbouring cottages and you will have access to the relaxing shared hot tub, and 3 acres of grounds to explore with your canine companions.

There are miles of rural and coastal walks across the Gower Peninsula, with plenty of local attractions and historic landmarks including King Arthur’s Stone, Weobley Castle and the Gower Heritage Centre, all within 8 miles. The vibrant city of Swansea is 9 miles away, home to Swansea Marina, Plantasia Tropical Zoo and the National Waterfront Museum. There are some glorious sandy beaches, including Mumbles, Oxwich Bay and Three Cliffs, all within 10 miles.

Stunning locale with amazing views. Perfect to unwind and relax. The hot tub was brilliant as you can relax and take in the fabulous views that surround you. A fantastic place to stay. We had three generations staying and we all had a great time. We ate together every night around the big table. Enjoyed seeing the horses, the hot tub was a hit with the younger members of the family. The facilities were excellent. So much to see in the Gower Peninsula. We could have stayed longer. Lovely welcome from our hosts without being intrusive. This is one of a number of barn conversions which have communal gardens, and a hot tub and barbecue that you can use. A secluded rural location from which you can probably reach anywhere in the Gower within about half an hour.

Comfortable converted former farm building in a glorious setting with open outlook and views. The owners were on hand to greet us and made themselves available during our stay to offer guidance on walks and places to visit which was really helpful. Despite having a private outside space at the rear, the use of a much larger shared rear garden with Read more2 other adjoining cottages was a real bonus. Lovely cosy cottage, equipped with everything you could possibly need. Beautiful surroundings, excellent location for accessing everything on the Gower Peninsula. Stunning view out the back of the property across the fields and estuary. Owners were so helpful. Will visit again.

A modern and cosy cottage which was a perfect fit for my wife and I and our elderly pooch. Plenty of room for him to bimble about the grounds. Whenever we stay anywhere we love to have a hot tub and thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub here overlooking the local area. We had a fantastic week at The Cottage which was in a great location and not far from some beautiful beaches, our favourite being Rhossili Bay and Three Cliffs. The cottage was great for the two of us and our puppy and was clean and well equipped. The Gower is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area.
