With every nook and cranny packed with charm, this magical property is what a rural Welsh stay is all about. Tucked away at the base of the Pen y Fan, this stand-alone cottage comes complete with awe-inspiring views and an unbeatable atmosphere, whether you’re unwinding in the cosy lounge or enjoying Welsh cakes in the garden. Ideally suited to families, younger visitors will adore picking songs on the retro Wurlitzer jukebox or playing a game of hide and seek both inside and out.

Featuring unique accents and characterful style elements, this holiday home is certain to wow even the quirkiest of guests. The heart of the house can be found on the first floor, cosily nestled under the rafters of the property with oak beams up above. Fill this space with music from the jukebox or switch on the TV, sinking into cosy sofas whilst dinner is prepared. Each room of this house appears to tell a story, filled to the brim with vintage pieces and a cheerful colour scheme. Discover a hidden happy place in the garden, soaking up the far-reaching mountain views whilst dining alfresco or playing ball games on the lawn.

Set off in walking boots and embrace the footpaths, cycle routes and bridleways surrounding the estate. A trip up Pen y Fan (3.5 miles), Brecon’s highest mountain, will challenge any competent mountaineer and afford you stunning views at its peak. For something a little less demanding, flock to Brecon (3.5 miles) to find the River Usk running through, stopping off for a coffee or pint of something local in this charming town. The river boasts waterfront walks or days out fishing, ideally suited to those eager for a slower pace of life.

A great space in a lovely location. The barn was perfect for our holiday with extended family plus dogs. Great reception area for boots coats etc, and useful utility room to dry all our wet walking clothes. Four good sized rooms with plenty of bathrooms to go around. The kitchen is really well equipped and the living space is comfy and sociable.
