Delightful barn conversion filled with original oak beams and wooden floorboards, perfect for a traditional stay in the heart of the unforgettable Brecon Beacons.

Venture into the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park and enjoy life off the beaten track at this gorgeous barn conversion. Great for families with little ones or for a gaggle of explorers, the warming wood burner will keep you toasty during lazy days and is a welcoming treat to return home to after adventures in the great outdoors. Marvel at the vista over the Black Mountains and the Usk Valley before getting up close and personal with them during day.

Beautiful wooden floors, exposed beams and calming neutral tones create an air of tranquillity which flows between spaces. The lounge is cosy with a pair of inviting sofas positioned perfectly in front of the dancing flames of the wood burner - great for snug nights in and post-adventure chills in front of the TV/DVD. Whether the skies are filled with clouds, or the sun shines bright and warm, choose where to dine in style and plate up in the small yet sleek kitchen/diner or fire up the BBQ and tuck into sizzling feasts in your private courtyard. Sloping ceilings add character to the three smart bedrooms which reside on the first floor; enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep before waking for a soak in the tub.

Boasting a terrific position in the Brecon Beacons, find Tretower Court and Castle less than a mile from your door. Venture further afield and tread well-trodden paths around the magical peaks, lakes and villages and explore the Black Mountains, the tallest of which is Waun Fach (15 miles). The bustling town of Crickhowell (2.5 miles) is a great destination for a day out with paths leading to the top of Table Mountain and plenty of places to reward your efforts and whet your appetite.

The view here is simply stunning. My friends and I spent hardly any time inside and wrapped ourselves up to stay outside and soak in the view. We watched the sunset every night. The sheep came up to the !SELECTED!fence !ENDOFSELECTED!every day, and the birdsong all day was wonderful. If you need some restorative rest and relaxation, book here!

A very comfortable stay in a remote barn conversion in a working farm in the black mountains. It is a large space with 3 bedrooms and a large living room. It is very well warmed by underfloor heating, you do not even need the fire, but it is a nice touch. Kitchen is well equipped. There are short walks to a number of local pubs and villages and treRead moretower Castle is well worth a visit. The black mountains are right behind the barn and this is a great base to conquer them from. Hide

We had a great holiday at Ty Cynfin Barn. The house was extremely well appointed, clean and comfortable. The view from the house is just lovely, there are local walks and it is possible to join the Brecon Beacons way by walking from the house.

A truly wonderful barn, which was a lot more spacious than it appeared to be on the website photos. Lovely cottage, spotlessly clean and everything you need is there. Spectacular view - you do have to drive up a farm track to get there so bear that in mind. Good location close to Hay and Crickhowell with Cardiff and Newport not too far away.

Weekend away hiking with mates, and this retreat was ideal. Quite rural, but beautiful scenery and easy enough to get anywhere with Crickhowell just down the road.

The location of the barn is absolutely stunning. Late summer sunsets and clear night skies made it extra special. Great views across Brecon Beacons and perfect place to explore from. Basic but adequately furnished with plenty of space for 6 people to socialise in the living room and outdoor space.
