The stylish dining room is a wonderful space for sharing all your favourite family meals, while the country-style kitchen is fully equipped and a pleasure to cook in. Going upstairs, the cottage has three light and cosy bedrooms, all set in the eaves of the property with sloping ceilings and some low headroom: there are two pretty doubles (one with en-suite shower room), and a colourful twin, along with a smart family bathroom. French doors open from the lounge into the charming patio which features outdoor furniture – it’s a lovely spot for dining alfresco. To the front of the cottage there’s an enclosed lawn perfect for children to play on.
Cwmtwrch is a pretty village perfect for exploring the Swansea Valley and the Brecon Beacons, with the nearby town of Ystradgynlais (3 miles) offering some great pubs and restaurants. Local attractions include the National Showcaves Centre for Wales, the Wales Ape and Monkey Sanctuary, Herbert’s Quarry, Henrhyd Falls, Aberdulais and Carreg Cennen Castle (all within 11.5 miles).
