Stretch your legs on one of the many walks from your doorstep. Summit the mighty Sugar Loaf mountain for spectacular views over the surrounding landscape, before returning to snuggle up by the wood burner.

With exposed beams, wood-panelled walls and a quarry-tile stone floor and lintel, this farmhouse is a beautiful time-trap, transporting you back to its 15th-century roots while modern comforts keep you comfortable in the present. Textiles and low ceilings create a cosy ambience, while the wood burner and Aga are perfect for warming chilly toes and paws. Two sitting rooms mean adults and kids can enjoy their own space, before reuniting around the dining table for a home-cooked meal. Retire to the eaved bedrooms for a peaceful nights sleep, rising to take your morning coffee in the garden. Soak up the sights and relax as the kids and pups play on the lawn. Sizzle up a BBQ and dine alfresco with incredible views as a memorable backdrop.

We had an absolutely fantastic holiday at the farmhouse. The house itself was beautiful and really well equipped. Heather and Tom were super helpful and on-hand if we needed anything. The garden was perfect for our dog and also watching the baby lambs in the field next door! Everything was faultless and we would love to come back.

This historic and characterful farmhouse was great fun to stay in. We enjoyed the rural lifestyle including the farmhouse kitchen complete with Aga and sitting room with a large woodburner. The excellent location offers walks from the doorstep alongside convenient proximity to Abergavenny. Hot water, logs, and welcome were constantly on offer.

Superb setting with no disturbance. The house is so inviting and cosy, even my daughter was won over and has completely changed her view on her desired decorations. It took me back to staying at my Grandparents house when I was a child. Very atmospheric. Very warm and homely. The view from the cottage was heavenly. The lambs in the back were so sweet and enthusiastic to greet us. The area was great for walking. Abergavenny is a great town, spoilt for places to eat, drink and relax.
