Set on the cusp of a quintessential rural hamlet, this single-level property is a haven for guests with a love for the outdoors, complete with a private hot tub for relaxing evenings under the stars.

The detached bungalow is set against a backdrop of rolling Welsh countryside. There are some beautiful walks to enjoy in the area, including Pen-y-Crug (12.5 miles) which is the site of an Iron Age fort. The bustling market town of Brecon is just 13 miles away. The property sleeps six guests and is perfect for families or groups of friends who love peace, tranquillity and exploring the great outdoors. The bungalow boasts stunning rural views which you can appreciate from the outdoor seating area or your private hot tub.

As you arrive, you’ll be greeted by a fabulous welcome pack, including delicious Welsh cakes. Make yourself a cup of tea and relax on the plump sofa in the lounge, where you can admire the wonderful views across the Welsh countryside through the impressive triple-sliding doors. Rustle up a tasty meal in the stylish kitchen, which also boasts fine views, to enjoy together around the table in the formal dining room. When it’s time to say ‘nos da’, retire to one of the tasteful bedrooms - which comprise a king-size, double, and twin - for a restful night’s sleep. Outside, you’ll find an elegant, decked area for al fresco dining, with views across open fields to the Brecon Beacons National Park. Crack open the bubbly, sink into the hot tub and toast to a fantastic holiday. Iechyd da!

Appreciate the region’s varied and everchanging scenery on a walk along the 40-mile Epynt Way (join the trail 0.5 miles away). Taking you through river valleys and across moorland, you’ll be treated to spectacular views across the Black Mountains. While away several hours pottering around beautiful Brecon. Amble in and out of the Georgian buildings, which house cute cafes and boutiques, before taking a gentle stroll alongside the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal.

We had a great week in Pentre-bach. The bungalow was exactly as described and the hot tub was perfect after a day of good walks. Our dog loved all the local walks and especially being surrounded by sheep and new lambs. the owners are the local farmers who could not have been more helpful
