Sitting on the side of Sugar Loaf Mountain, this cottage offers direct access onto footpaths and routes to the summit. Head up and admire the panoramic views towards the Cotswolds, Brecon Beacons and further afield. You’ll also be well placed for exploring the wider Brecon Beacons National Park, such as Llangorse Lake (16 miles) or Tretower Court and Castle (8.5 miles). Wildlife is in abundance here, too, and birdwatchers will especially enjoy watching red kites swoop and dive. For a bit of urban life, pop over to Abergavenny (4 miles) or Crickhowell (6 miles). Both of which have a wide range of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes.
