This cottage is wonderful, it's very welll equiped, perfectly furnished and immaculately clean. The views are absolutely amazing!!! Barmouth is a super seaside town, in theory it's walking distance, we did it once, but it is a very long steep narrow lane. This cottage definitely has the wow factor! The views are fabulous and you instantly feel "at home" As two families, the number of bathrooms was a real plus too. And with so much walking straight from the door it was the perfect location.

Beautiful location, well maintained and presented cottage. Rebecca helpful but not intrusive. We loved the location but be aware it is situated up a narrow country lane which nervous drivers might find a challenge but we were okay with, but the views make it worth it.

Very comfortable stay, lots of space for 6 people. Fantastic views and lovely outdoor seating area and windows to enjoy the view. Cottage was very clean and well equipped. Nice touch with coffee, tea, milk and biscuits left for us which was much appreciated. Car is needed as there is a long and narrow lane to get into Barmouth. Would recommend the Read morelast inn for drinks and something to eat, the best in Barmouth! Hide

Too far out of town to walk in. Description said beach and shop within a mile but closer to 2 miles up a very steep, narrow road. Such a lovely location. Stunning views. Beautiful cottage. Cozy. Lovely, amusing sheep! Completely safe for dogs as fully enclosed. The pictures don't show it but there is a good sized lawn for dogs to play in too! Close to Barmouth but so peaceful. This is a beautiful holiday home. It is very spacious and spotlessly clean. Everything we needed was available in the property. We had a fabulous holiday - we were very lucky with the weather. Garden is very large and although it is all enclosed you cannot see all corners of it so we didnt feel able to let our dog off. A wonderful cottage with glorious panoramic views of hills, mountains, estuary and surrounding fields. Comfortable, spacious and decorated to a high standard, with comfy beds and a nice contrast between the cosy lounge and the kitchen/dining area with the great views. The cottage is amazing (even better than the photos online), very clean and comfortable and situated in an extremely quiet and picturesque location. We very much enjoyed our stay here, it was so peaceful and restful. The owner was very friendly and helpful too. Would love to visit again sometime.

We have just returned from a fabulous week at Custard Cottage. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very well appointed. A beautiful kitchen with a fantastic view greets you as you enter. The living room is cosy and has ample comfy seating plus an electric log burner style fire for an added cosy feel. The cottage was really lovely, we could have sat there all day watching the ever changing colours with the clouds across the view be it sunny or raining, it was quiet & peaceful. Although we knew it was up a narrow uphill road we didnt realise just how far, happy to have done the walk down but not up.

Beautiful very well appointed cottage with a great view across the estuary. We had a great week and cant rate it highly enough. Just be aware that the cottage is 1.6 miles from the main road up a narrow and sometimes steep road.

The cottage was up a steep hill on a small lane about two miles from Barmouth, not remote just very private. The panoramic views from the terrace and kitchen were actually breath taking. Everything about Custard Cottage is wonderful. The location, although out of the way, is beautiful and the view from the cottage is incredible, overlooking the estuary and Welsh mountains. We had an amazing week in this gorgeous cottage. It was very well equipped and clean. Great for walks although it is a big uphill walk from Barmouth beach/town so car needed. Worth it for the absolutely stunning views with nothing but sheep for company. Suggest booking some places to eat in advance during peak season as places book up fast. Exceptional quality and location. The views are simply outstanding. We went with high hopes and left with them been exceeded. All week we kept saying "wow" when we looked out of the window.
