Romantic countryside barn conversion in 2 acres of private woodland garden with a private hot tub.

Hide yourselves away for a spell in this gorgeous stone cottage, nestled in beautiful gardens and woodland near Capel Dewi, 4 miles from Llandysul, in West Wales. Sleeping just two people, but also welcoming up to four of their favourite furry friends, the one-bedroom, converted barn makes a simply idyllic retreat for couples. Explore the 2 acres of grounds about you; head into Llandysul to browse in the shops and dine out; and plan trips to the coast, about 18 miles away, to go to the beach at Aberporth or walk a section of the Ceredigion Coast Path.

Wander into the charming abode to find yourselves in an enticing, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Settle on the sofa in here and fire up the wood burner so it emits a warming glow. Find a film on TV, enjoy a few pages of your book then wander over to the kitchen area to prepare supper. Find a handy utility room and your bathroom at this level too. At the end of each busy day, climb the wooden ladder up to the mezzanine to lay your heads in your comfortable, king-size bed. Take breakfast outside in the enclosed patio area on bright mornings. Light the BBQ in the evening, head over to the fire pit and sit out here to dine as the stars begin to appear. Enjoy in your very own private hot tub, while listening to the birds sing and the river babbling. Find parking for up to two cars at the property.

Have a morning out at the National Wool Museum, 10 miles from the cottage. Go walking at the Woodland Trust’s Coed y Foel, just 2 miles from your base. Visit the beautiful, themed Norwood Gardens, 4 miles away, with its alpine, bamboo, Mediterranean and woodland areas.

Had a very relaxing and peaceful week at The Little Barn. The hosts Ian and Manda did everything they could to make us comfortable. The barn itself was very well equipped and clean, and the woodland was perfect for our dog. The hot tub was a new experience and heavenly. I would highly recommend The Little Barn Cilgraig.

Excellent, tranquil cottage. Meet & greet by Ian was thorough. Since we brought our two dogs, we were impressed at the thought put into making the dags feel at home. Set in woodlands, both we and the dogs enjoyed exploring. Plenty of places to see within half hours drive from the location. Ken, Charmaine, Mork & Mindy
