This elegantly decorated and stylishly furnished apartment is set in a pretty spot on the shore of the Dyfi, and makes a relaxing holiday bolthole for a family exploring this lovely area.
Treat yourselves to a seaside break at Aberdyfi in Wales when you stay at this two-storey apartment in the charming coastal village. Set at the very southern tip of Snowdonia, in Gwynedd, this is a fabulous location for exploring both the Welsh coast and countryside. Sleeping six guests, and welcoming one dog, the three-bedroom property makes a great base from which to go walking and hill climbing in the national park, as well as for enjoying days out on the beach.
Climb a few exterior stairs up to the first floor of the building and let yourselves in to find bright spaces that are streaming with sunshine. Follow the hall into the lounge/diner, where you and your family and friends can gather at the end of each day out exploring this beautiful corner of Wales; watch TV, play games or simply gaze out across the water. Take a step down into the modern kitchen to prepare a meal for your party with the local produce you have shopped for nearby, then dine in here too. There is also a utility room with a washing machine and freezer, plus a family shower room on this floor. A twin bedroom can also be found here, one step down. Venture up to the floor above to discover a family shower room and two double bedrooms that look out over the estuary. Guests will receive a permit to car parks in the area, one of which is within 250 metres.
Picnic and play on the golden sands at Aberdyfi, 750 metres from the apartment. Go sailing, fishing or canoeing here too or book a boat trip out into Bae Ceredigion. Tywyn Beach, 5 miles away, is also worth visiting. Enjoy the 4.5-mile walk along the beach and dunes to Tywyn, then catch the train home.
