This fabulous property benefits from an elevated position, providing spectacular views, and is set in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. A woodland path leads you to the beach, where you’ll discover a sweeping sandy bay. The family-friendly beach is sheltered for bathing and has lots of rock pools for children to investigate. The property sleeps four guests – ideal for a small family or couples – and has a sociable, open-plan layout and a stunning garden overlooking the bay.
Enter the property via a hallway, where you can store your outdoor gear, and into the bright lounge/diner. Located at the front of the house, this room makes the most of the lush coastal views. Come together for evening meals around the dining table, before sinking into the plump sofa to watch a film on the TV. The holiday home has two super-king-size bedrooms, one of which can be made up as a twin on request. Outside, discover a generous garden and patio overlooking the bay, where you can enjoy a spot of al fresco dining and toast to a fantastic holiday over a bottle of Welsh Gwin, Iechyd da!
From Freshwater East, you can join the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and head east towards Stackpole Quay and onto the magical Barafundle Bay. Backed by dunes and pine trees, and boasting fabulous turquoise waters, this striking beauty spot is regularly compared to the beaches of the Caribbean. You’ll find plenty to see and do in the ancient town of Pembroke (3.5 miles). Take the Town Trail to explore the town’s fascinating buildings, shop until you drop on the colourful high street, and immerse yourself in history with a visit to the 11th-century castle.
