Envisage waking up to the sound of birdsong and the smell of sizzling bacon after a restorative sleep in your own home-away-from-home, throwing open your curtains to reveal over 48 acres of lushious pastures. This comfortable haven is perfect for exploring the Ceredigion coast and countryside alike, sleeping two guests in comfort with plenty of adventures on your doorstep.

Hearty meals and cosy evenings await, so swap your walking boots for your comfiest slippers and light the gas wood burner-effect fire before snuggling up on the sofa. Watch TV or challenge each other to a game of cards over a tipple before supper, then prepare a feast in the excellently equipped kitchen. Upstairs, the bedroom has a super-king-size bed that is crisply-dressed and ready for slumber, plus a walk-in wardrobe and dressing table. Soak in the bath before retiring for the night, or whip up a hot chocolate and marvel at the night sky from the garden. By day, your private outdoor space has spectacular views of the countryside. Stabling for horses at an additional fee can be arranged with the owners.

Llandysul is a short 1.5-mile walk or drive away where you will find an array of shops to peruse as well as several eateries to try. Salmon and trout fishing is popular on the nearby River Teifi, but if you fancy something a little more adrenaline-fuelled there are lots of outdoor activities to try. Golf, horse riding, and even canoeing are all possible, but there are also opportunities to walk and cycle to your hearts content. Heading towards the coast, New Quay 15 miles away is a brilliant place to spot marine wildlife such as dolphins and wild seabirds.

Well stocked and thoughtful touches throughout this comfortable cottage, ideal for couples wishing to explore West Wales. If you like peace and quiet and horses, this is the place for you. The fire was lovely to have on in the evening too. Caters for up to 3 dogs (must sleep downstairs).
