Escape to this attractive barn at Betws Yn Rhos and have a North Wales holiday to remember. Nestled 3 miles from the coastal market town of Abergele, the two-bedroom holiday home, which sleeps four guests, is in an ideal location for trips to the beach and the Snowdonia National Park, 14 miles away. Return from your exciting excursions to bask in the sunny garden and bubble in the hot tub.

Stroll into the welcoming property, leaving your outerwear in the hall, and head through to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with its vaulted and beamed ceiling. This sunny space will quickly become the heart of the holiday home. Whip up tasty dishes in the kitchen, which has all the equipment you need, then call everyone to join you at the table. Play games, read your books or watch the Smart TV in the lounge, opening the doors to the garden on warm days. As night falls, head off to the double bedroom or the twin to rest and recuperate before the next adventure. There is also a family bathroom at the barn. The enclosed garden makes a great extension to the property in the spring and summer months. Light the BBQ out here on occasion, dine out in the fresh air then unwind in the hot tub afterwards. There is space for securing cycles and storing other outdoor equipment, as well as parking for two cars.

The award-winning, sandy beach at Colwyn Bay, 7 miles away, is the perfect place for a family day out. As well as swimming, it is also known for its water sports and fishing. There is also a puppet theatre, mini golf and other family attractions, such as the Welsh Mountain Zoo. Head 14 miles into Conwy to see the famous castle, then venture on into Snowdonia.

Cottage clean and tidy. Local pub a short drive, we didn't want to walk on the road with our dog. Note, pub doesn't serve food unless you book 5 till 8.

We had a lovely holiday at this wonderful place. Close enough for day visits out to castles, gardens and the beach. The property was perfect for us - hot tub was a welcome treat to relax in. Then owners were friendly yet unobtrusive and there were some nice touches around the home. Cannot recommend highly enough.
