Perfectly situated to explore the Welsh coast and countryside, this Victorian cottage is a fabulous family home with calming spaces to relax inside and out. For a day out at the seaside, visit the Menai Straits for a charming experience wandering along the promenade, sinking your toes into the sand at the beach and indulging in an ice cream whilst the sun is shining.

Step inside and head straight through to the living room sprawl on the sumptuous sofa and chairs beside the wood burner to watch a film. When it’s time for tea, the kitchen is a charming space with a real family-friendly feel where you’ll have plenty of space to cook up a feast with local produce. A dining table for four sits beside a feature fireplace, creating a lovely social area for mealtimes or games nights with views into the garden. Walk upstairs and you’ll find three bedrooms, the first of which is a tastefully decorated king-size room with a painted feature wall. The second room is a neutral double and the final is a single room, perfect for children. Completing the property is a stylish shower room with a cubicle where you can rinse off the sand after a day of adventure spent at the beach. On sunny evenings, head out into the pretty enclosed garden where you can hear the sounds of the water whilst you dine al fresco on the garden furniture watching the sunset.

Adventures in Snowdonia National Park start just 200 metres away where the boundary lies with a patchwork of walking trails through varied terrain waiting to be explored. Spend a day at Gwydir Forest Park (22 miles) and search for the mighty mountains, trickling rivers and whimsical waterfalls that lie within. Spend a day at the seaside resort of Llandudno for a nostalgic experience riding cable cars, soaking up the sights and sounds of the sea and eating ice cream from local vendors for a memory that will last a lifetime.
