A magnificent barn conversion set in beautiful rolling countryside 1 mile from Berriew, which is typical of the small, picturesque villages scattered across Powys. The barn is perfect for large families or groups of friends celebrating a special occasion and includes spacious open-plan living areas, a games room and an awe-inspiring garden with a plethora of impressive amenities.

The two-storey barn sits well back from the main road between Newtown and Welshpool. It has been finished to an incredibly high standard, with contemporary and bespoke soft furnishings and fittings punctuating large, naturally-lit rooms with numerous original features. There’s even underfloor heating. The lounge/kitchen/diner has all the space a large group could want to come together and enjoy sumptuous meals and conversations that ring with the sound of laughter and popping corks. If it's too busy in the lounge, the old diary snug offers a space for quiet time, and there’s also a games room for younger guests. There are six individually-appointed bedrooms on the ground floor: three en-suite king-size bedrooms and an en-suite twin bedroom, and two double bedrooms with shared access to a shower room. Upstairs there are eight further bedrooms, all enjoying wonderful countryside views: two of the five en-suite king-size bedrooms have a Juliet balcony, there is an en-suite double bedroom, another king-size bedroom and a twin bedroom. A stylish family bathroom awaits nearby. The garden is another cracking place to unwind surrounded by friends and family, with a play area for youngsters, a hot tub for those who love a soak and plenty of room for grand alfresco meals against a stunning backdrop.

The property stands 1 mile from Berriew, home to an array of family-friendly pubs and restaurants. Powis Castle and the market town of Montgomery (5 miles) are wonderful places to learn about the area’s cultural and historical past, while Llanfair Light Railway (10 miles) is a great way to experience its natural beauty from a different perspective.
