A stylish cabin 6 miles from Caernarfon. Featuring an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a king-size bedroom with sea views and a small garden leading down to the beach, this dog-friendly property is a convenient base for a couple seeking a coastal bolthole with easy access to attractions across the Llyn Peninsula.
The deceptively large cabin, a former artist’s studio, is set off the road linking the harbour town of Neyn and Caernarfon. The cabin’s fresh and inviting rooms are populated by contemporary soft furnishings, with plenty of natural light pouring in through feature glass doors in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This is a comfortable area for enjoying romantic meals preparing using local produce with the dogs at foot and the sounds of the coast filling the air. Once plates are cleared, guests can curl up together in front of an evening film or simply absorb the view. When the day is done, the warm arms of a king-size bedroom await, while a stylish shower room stands ready to rejuvenate and recharge guests in the morning. The partially-enclosed garden looks out onto the coast, and is a relaxing setting for alfresco snacks and sharing a bottle of fizz at sunset.
Guests are welcome to explore Aberdesach’s sand and pebble beach (100 metres) at their leisure. The Wales Coastal Path is a great way to explore the Llyn Peninsula, with attractions including the house and gardens at Plas yn Rhiw (22 miles) found along the way. Nefyn is home to a range of cultural and sporting attractions, while Caernarfon’s marina and castle are popular with visitors alike. Both are within 15 miles of the bungalow.
