A fantastic upside-down former coach house with estuary views just 200 metres from Aberdovey’s waterfront. This elegant family-friendly property features a spacious lounge/diner, an enclosed garden and easy access to a host of cultural, historic and natural attractions across the southern tip of Snowdonia National Park.

This detached two-storey property is set off a quiet lane in an elevated position above the Dyfi Estuary. It is tastefully-appointed throughout, with plush contemporary furnishings scattered about large, bright rooms. The hall gives way to a utility room that stands close to three en-suite bedrooms - one super-king-size and two king-size - all of which offer a comfortable setting for a peaceful night’s sleep. Upstairs, the lounge/diner boasts wonderful estuary views from its bay window, best served with refreshments and good company. The kitchen stands close by, a room haven for foodies to experiment with locally-sourced ingredients. The enclosed garden is an attractive space perfect for BBQ suppers or refreshments surrounded by established plantings giving way to further views of the estuary.

Aberdovey (500 metres) is well-known for its pastel-coloured townhouses, inviting beach and family-friendly pubs and restaurants. The town is a convenient base for water sports lovers, with a range of activities available on the beach and the estuary. Aberdovey is home to a championship-standard links golf course (1 mile) and ardent walkers can discover breathtaking views of the area along the South Wales Coast Path on the way to Tywyn (5 miles). Snowdonia National Park offers awe-inspiring peaks, walking trails and water sports.

Lovely stay in The Old Coach House. Views are stunning. Location was perfect. Weather could have been better. Lovely cottage for 6 adults/older children; would not recommend for young children.
