Escape with your loved one to this rural idyll in picturesque North Wales. Sleeping just two guests, the one-bedroom retreat encompasses a group of private cabins, nestled in glorious, ancient woodland and countryside near Llanrhaeadr, 3 miles from Denbigh. With spectacular views, the hideaway, which sits on the fringes of the owner’s smallholding but benefits from exceptional privacy, is the perfect bolthole for a couple on a romantic Welsh break together.

Make your way into the pretty, enclosed garden to find you have one cabin that acts as your lounge/bedroom. Snuggle up on the sofa in here, in front of the Smart TV, after your busy days out exploring the Vale of Clwyd. Help yourself to a book to read before you enjoy a superb night’s sleep in the double bed. The sofa can become a small double bed for children, if requested at booking. Another cabin has been creatively designed as a kitchen/diner, where you can whip up delicious dinners to eat as you enjoy the view from inside or out. There is also a WC cabin, with eco flush, and a shower. Spill out on to the deck on the summer months to enjoy a glass of wine as you take in the views or BBQ your supper. Light the chiminea so you can sit out for longer as the sun goes down and the stars come out.

Stroll down the footpath that takes you through the woods to the cold Roman bath where you can have a cold water dip. Head into Denbigh to browse in the shops and dine out. Visit the famous castle while you are here. Venture 4 miles to reach the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Have a day out to the seaside at Abergele, 14 miles away.
