Lose yourselves in the picturesque views out over countryside close to the Brecon Beacons when you stay at this Welsh farmhouse near Tredomen. Sleeping six guests, and welcoming canine companions, this three-bedroom retreat comes with an enclosed garden where you can look out towards the Black Mountains and Pen-y-Fan. Ideal for visiting Bannau Brycheiniog, also known at the Becon Beacons National Park, less than 2 miles away, it is 5 miles from the vibrant market town of Brecon, with its shops, pubs and cafes.

Let yourselves at side of the cottage to find yourselves in a gorgeous, farmhouse-style lounge/kitchen/diner. Make delicious meals in here to enjoy round the table or settle on the sofa to chat or watch TV. Enjoy the views for a while then wander through to the main lounge to settle on the soft seating in front of a good film on the Smart TV. There is also a utility room and a WC at this level. As day turns to night, climb the stairs up to the first floor of the farmhouse. Here you will find a king-size bedroom, with en-suite shower room, plus a double and a twin. The twin has zip-and-link beds and can also be arranged as a super-king-size if discussed at booking. There is also a family bathroom at this level. Take the children outside to watch them as they play on the equipment. Dine out here too on fine days and light the fire pit in the evening so you can enjoy long summer nights under the stars.

Drive 8 miles to climb magnificent Pen y Fan, the highest point in South Wales, and to take in panoramic views. Venture into Brecon to shop for local produce and to see the castle. Enjoy water sports at Llangorse Lake, 4.5 miles away.

The cottage is so clean, spacious and peaceful with outstanding views. It was very well equipped with everything we needed. Cooking in the kitchen was a dream and I even used the fresh herbs growing in the beautifully kept garden. The owners live next door and are extremely friendly and helpful. We have loved the walks in mountains, by rivers and wRead moreaterfalls and the local market towns. This is the best UK holiday accommodation we have ever visited and we cant wait to go back. Hide

Beautiful cottage in a Gorgeous spot! Loved to see the cows in the field opposite. I imagine this place is spectacular all year round but would love to come back and enjoy a prosecco on the patio in the sunshine! Thanks Becky for looking after us and checking in to make sure we had everything we needed!

What a beautiful setting for this stone house with fabulous views. Plenty of space inside and out, comfortable seating and beds, good shower and great garden for the dog. Quiet location yet not far from places we wanted but o visit. Friendly and helpful owner near by.
