Nestled on a small country estate within a working farm, this beautiful barn conversion offers couples or a small family a sublime fusion of rustic charm and contemporary luxury set against the backdrop of the stunning Herefordshire countryside. Cleverly converted, the property features its own private hot tub and a first-floor living space that's perfect for unwinding while taking in the breathtaking scenery.

As you step inside, an inviting kitchen and dining area await. Flooded with natural light, warmed by an Aga, and with picturesque views over the lake, this space is ideal for creating culinary masterpieces. A spacious hallway with oak floors provides a desk area and access to a king-size bedroom, beautifully furnished and finished with soft linens. There's also a generous wet room accessible from the hallway. On the first floor, guests can relax in the expansive lounge, complete with original wooden beams. The room boasts triple-aspect views and features a wood burner, comfortable sofas, and a Smart TV. The first floor also houses a splendid main bedroom with a super-king-size bed, exposed beams, and an en-suite shower room. Outside, guests can explore the estate's grounds, take leisurely walks down to the charming boating lake, or enjoy a sumptuous soak in the sunken hot tub.

1 mile away, you'll find yourself in the quaint village of Madley. Here, you can explore a well-stocked village store and a traditional inn. If you're feeling active, there's a 9-hole golf course and tennis courts to enjoy. The picturesque surroundings are a paradise for walkers, with vast acres of farmland, serene lakes, and enchanting woodlands waiting to be discovered. A visit to the Welsh Border market town of Hay-on-Wye (15 miles) is highly recommended, particularly for its renowned book shops. Additionally, the cathedral city of Hereford, the culinary hub of Ludlow, and the gateway to the Brecon Beacons National Park, Abergavenny, are all within a 30-mile radius.

Perfect property, elegant and well styled, definitely had the wow factor when we walked in. The bottle of champagne waiting on the drinks trolley made our stay extra special. Beautiful setting, stylish and very well equipped. This is quality accommodation in a lovely area. Owners very approachable, sensitive but aware of guests need for privacy. We personally found the hot tub not to be as near as we expected and not to be as private as we would have liked. The pictures of the lake tend to imply that there is fishing onRead more site but this is not the case although fishing is available at a cost nearby. However, the views are stunning and we enjoyed watching the heron fish. Hide

We had a lovely short break in The Granary, very comfortable and quiet. The views of the gardens and mountains in the distance was breathtaking and looked especially good from the hot tub! We would love to go back, maybe with friends or family to stay in one of the other properties. Hide
