This stone barn conversion enjoys a truly rural location within the foothills of Blorenge Mountain, a peaceful setting that is perfect for families and groups of friends wanting to embrace the outdoors. Situated on the doorstep of the Brecon Beacons National Park, Clydach Gorge is a true hidden gem in the northwest of Monmouthshire, between Abergavenny and Brynmawr. Part of the gorge is a national nature reserve, important for its ancient beech woods, birds and bats. There are numerous walks and trails to get around the gorge, including the scenic National Cycling Route 46. Other attractions in the area include Blaenavon Iron Works (5 miles), The Big Pit (7 miles) and The Brecon Railway (13 miles), or you can explore the Brecon Beacons and stargaze until dawn. Visit the historic towns of Crickhowell and Abergavenny which are full of shops, pubs, eateries, galleries, museums and castles (10 miles).

Enjoying a rural setting with views across the surrounding hills and set behind a walled courtyard, this spacious barn offers a friendly welcome. Step inside to the main body of the barn where you will be pleasantly surprised with the vaulted ceilings and original beams, offering an open-plan living space that works perfectly for family get-togethers. The space offers a cosy lounge area with a wood burner and TV, a contemporary kitchen with a central island that is great for morning coffee whilst planning your next adventure, and a dining room with a table and chairs for six enjoying courtyard views. The lounge area benefits from a mezzanine which is a great space for children, stocked with books and games and a desk for anyone needing to check emails. Guests have the choice of three generously sized double bedrooms, along with a wet room and family bathroom.

Outside, there is an enclosed courtyard with a private hot tub and a table and chairs. To the rear of the barn, there is an additional seating area that enjoys an open aspect and storage for bikes.
